Editor of the Book "The Biscuit Bomber"

Jim served in the 57th Troop Carrier Squadron from 1943 - 1946. He was a pilot and flew the C-47 and C-46 aircraft. Jim was also the editor of the 57th Squadron book "Saga of the Biscuit Bomber."
Via a caregiver, Jim contacted us about three years ago (2012). I have spoken with him many times since then, and we have become great friends. CMSgt (R) Lew Shedd, another Lifetime Member of the 57th Alumni Association, visited with Jim twice this summer (2013). During one of the visits, Lew presented Jim with his 57th Alumni Association Lifetime Membership Dog Tag. See video below.
